A foreigner came to a town one day. He was lost, along with his heavy bagage and belongings and so he asked a passerby for directions. He was helped with an alluring smile. The passerby pointed the direction in which the tourist wants, but decided on accompanying him there in any case he gets lost again. The foreigner declined but the kind stranger insisted. And so they set off towards their destination.

They talked and found many things they had in common, almost too much in common in fact. They both watched Titanic, 16 times. Had a mad fetish over Jazz. Gets turned on over working, mature ladies. They became good friends as if they had known each other for a decade over just the span of that short 15 minutes.

As they travelled, the foreigner noticed that the path they were on was getting quieter, deserted even. So he questioned his new found friend: "Are you sure we're on the right path? It's so..empty.". He was replied with an assuring smile and was told that they were taking a shortcut. All in a moment, the man took a knife out, and drove it deep in the tourist's chest. He took everything he had, money, clothes, iddentity papers. Everything.

The tourist was left there to die. As he laid there on the cold dark asphalt, he wept. It wasn't the pain, he was dissapointed. Shocked that someone, someone whom he thought he knew, someone whom he trusts, the only man he knew in this alien town, would trick him.

There was this father, who lived with his daughter in an apartment. His daughter was blind, but they were happy. One morning, he went down to nearby drugstore to get a copy of a newspaper. He left his blind daughter in the apartment, but little did he realise that a fire was building just three stories below.

By that time he got back, the fire spreaded so very quickly. The place was barricaded by police, he couldn't enter to save his only daughter. Though firemen were trying to put out the fire, they weren't going to put out the flames in time. The fire had already reached his flat. Just then, he saw a familiar figure standing at the edge of the window frame, in the midst of the smoke. It was his daughter! She had found a way to make her way to the window and had climbed out. But she was stuck.

The firemen pumped up a cushion, something for the little girl to land saftely on. And officer called out: "Little girl, don't be afraid. Jump.". The girl remained at the edge, crying. The crowd which gathered called out to the girl to jump. To jump to safty. She didn't buldge. Her father cried out to her:" Sweetie, it's daddy. Everything's gonna be alright. I want you to listen to me. I want you to move closer to my voice. I want you to jump as far as you can. Everything's gonna be fine.". And the girl jumped, without hesitation. She knew that she was going to be good. She trusted her father.
